This statement explains what cookies are and how the Apex Lab marketing website (apexlab.nl) uses them.
Cookies are small text files that a website can store on your device via your browser. They can help a site function (e.g. security and navigation) and, where permitted, give site owners insight into how a site is used (analytics).
The Apex Lab marketing website is a static website. It does not set analytics, advertising, marketing, or tracking cookies, and it does not use third-party analytics tools. Fonts and scripts are served from our own domain rather than third-party networks, so no third-party cookies are introduced through them.
Because we do not place non-essential cookies, no cookie consent banner is shown.
Our website is hosted and protected by Cloudflare. To protect the site against malicious traffic, Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies (for example a bot-management cookie). These cookies are used solely for security and integrity of the connection, contain no marketing information, and are exempt from consent under EU rules as strictly necessary.
The participant dashboard at dashboard.apexlab.nl is a separate, access-controlled application. It uses a strictly necessary authentication cookie/session token so that signed-in users stay logged in. This is described to participants at sign-in and in the Privacy Policy.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Because this site relies only on strictly necessary cookies, blocking them should not materially affect browsing, but may affect security features provided by our CDN.
We may update this Cookie Statement, for example if our website or applicable law changes. The date of the most recent update is shown at the top.
