Inside Apex Lab

The pace of your day,
measured.

From sprint to stillness — Apex Lab tracks the rhythm of your workday and how your body handles every shift in demand.

Apex Lab overlays your calendar onto continuous wearable data, so every meeting, task, and break is tagged with the stress and recovery it actually produced — no self-reporting or guesswork.

Your Body Battery trajectory reveals when your energy is naturally highest. After two weeks of wear we can pinpoint your personal high-performance windows — and the hours you're better off protecting.

A sustainable rhythm is one where daily recharge outpaces daily drain. Apex Lab maps that balance explicitly so you can see whether the current pattern is holding or quietly losing ground.

Inside Apex Lab

What you do all day,
your body remembers.

Meetings, deep work, and every transition in between — each leaves a signal in your heart rate, stress, and recovery.

Apex Lab measures your heart rate, stress, and HRV response against each calendar block. The output: a clear breakdown of which meetings tax you most, and which are neutral — quantified, not guessed.

Deep work can raise sustained cognitive load without recovery in between. We flag when focus blocks tip into overload, so you can schedule real breaks before your nervous system forces them.

Yes. The weekly report translates six dimensions of wearable data into a single readable picture of your work's physiological cost — and what it takes to sustain it.

Inside Apex Lab

Recovery is the
real performance.

Overnight HRV, deep sleep, and morning resting heart rate tell you whether your body truly recharged — or carried today's load into tomorrow.

Overnight HRV is the honest measure of whether your autonomic nervous system recovered. Higher HRV means your body de-escalated the day's stress; lower HRV means today's load carried into tomorrow.

Sleep quantity is only part of the story. Fragmented deep sleep, reduced REM, or an elevated overnight heart rate mean your body and brain stayed partially "on" all night — and Apex Lab makes that visible.

First meaningful patterns emerge after two weeks of continuous wear. Stable personal baselines settle in around week four — and from there every week sharpens the signal.

What We Measure

Four dimensions of health,
one connected picture

Continuous wearable data and your work calendar combine into a full view of how work shapes your body — measured, not self-reported.

Stress and recovery

Stress & Recovery

Moment-to-moment stress load and whether your body genuinely recovers — measured continuously, not guessed from a survey.

Body Battery

Energy in, energy out. See exactly what drains your reserves through the day and what recharges them.

Sleep Architecture

Deep sleep, REM cycles, overnight HRV — the quality of the recovery that shapes how you show up the next day.

Calendar Intelligence

Every meeting, task, and routine mapped to the stress and recovery it actually produces in your body.

Our methodology

The Apex Lab measures physical health, mental health, and stress then quantifies your workload so you deliver next-level performance.

No guesswork. All measured.

How It Works

From wearable to insight,
in three steps

Wear your device

Participants wear a compatible Garmin, WHOOP, Oura, Fitbit, or Labfront device 24/7 — capturing heart rate, stress, sleep, and Body Battery.

Connect your calendar

Export your work calendar as ICS. Every meeting and task is linked to the physiological response it actually produces.

What participants
say

Early users of Apex Lab turn continuous wearable data into real changes in how they work, recover, and perform.

Apex Lab gave us the first measurable view of how our week actually lands on the body insights we used to restructure our meeting rhythm and protect recovery before burnout set in.

For the first time I could see — not guess — why certain weeks drained me. The calendar-stress overlay is the tool I didn't know I needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

How it works

Physiological data from your wearable — heart rate, stress, Body Battery, respiration, sleep, and optionally HRV. We also integrate your work calendar (ICS format) to map activities to health responses.

Apex Lab supports Garmin, WHOOP, Oura, Fitbit, and Labfront. Most modern models from these brands are compatible — we can advise on the specifics for your device before starting.

A typical measurement period runs for 2 to 4 weeks. This gives us enough data to identify meaningful patterns in stress, recovery, and work-related health responses. Longer tracking is available for longitudinal insights.

Privacy

No. Individual reports belong to the participant. If an organization commissions the study, they only receive anonymized, aggregate-level insights — never personal data. Privacy is fundamental to how Apex Lab operates.

Yes. All data handling follows GDPR requirements. We only collect data that is necessary for the analysis, participants give explicit informed consent, and data is stored securely with full transparency on processing.
